Es handelt sich hierbei um einen extrudierter „dicker“ Vinyl- Schaum als Trägermaterial (unten) = 3 Ebenen, darauf wird zusätzlich eine Lage Polyestergewebe kaschiert und mit zusätzlicher Vinyl Beschichtung als Top-Coating versehen.
Dieses zusätzliche Polyestergewebe sorgt für die Dimensionsstabilität und Verarbeitungs-Sicherheit bei langen Bahnen.
The special top coating ensures a higher print resolution. Natural white is not reflected disturbingly in the theater area (see Wikipedia).

What is a CV floor?
Auch der CV-Belag zählt zu den Vinyl-Böden und besteht somit ebenfalls aus Vinyl. Hinter den beiden Buchstaben CV versteckt sich der englische Ausdruck „cushioned vinyl“, was übersetzt so viel wie „gepolstertes Vinyl“ bedeutet.
Zunächst einmal ist festzustellen, dass hinter Vinyl und Designböden im Prinzip dasselbe Material steckt, nämlich Polyvinylchlorid, oder kurz: PVC. Im Sprachgebrauch hat es sich jedoch etabliert, gerollte Vinyl-Beläge als Vinyl und die rechteckigen, meist im Klickverfahren verlegten Planken als Vinyl zu bezeichnen.
